Our History

 
National Conference of Artists (NCA) is the oldest operating African American arts organization in the United States; founded in 1959. The National Conference of Artists New York, Inc. was formed in 1973. NCA's mission is to preserve, promote, develop, and mentor each artist while nurturing their creative forces and expressions as they navigate through the mainstream American art world at large.
